On June 28, 1914, our archduke Franz Ferinand and his wife were assassinated by a group of Serbian terrorists. The Serbians refused to comply with our government's demands to investigate and punish those responsible for the assassinations. As a result my country declared war on Serbia.
2.All those responsible for the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferinand will pay dearly for their actions! Not only was the Archduke killed, but the criminals also murdered his pregnant wife, Sophie. We will not tolerate the Serbian governments refusal to fully investigate these crimes! Indeed, my country is prepared to go to war to ensure that justice is served!
3.My country only wants a short war with Serbia. We don't want any other nations to get involved. there is a possibility that Russia will come to the aid of Serbia because they promised to protect all of the Slavic nations. However, if this was to happen Germany will come to our Defense.
4.poster's goal is to get people to donate money to the Serbian relief. It was an Amercian propaganda poster, who were fighting against the Germans, Austria-Hungary, and Italy. It uses the technique that plays with your emotions, called emotional appeal. The poster also uses demoniztion. It tries to make it out that women and children are the victims of Austria-Hungary's invasion into Serbia.
5.I am so happy that Russia has left the war. Now the odds are in our favor. Russia is nothing but a bunch of cowards anyway! Now we don't have to worry about the eastern front anymore and can concentrate on France, Italy and Great Britian on the western front. But there's another thing thats going to effect our chances. The United States of America's entry. They have sided with Great Britian, France, and Italy. America has so many soldiers and advanced technology. Im worried about the outcome of the war now.
6.The treaty of Versailles was written by my country, The United States of America. We blamed most things on Germany since it was mainly their fault. We are holding the German Emperor responsible. He is to be tried as a war criminal. They also must pay back the damages they caused for the civilians of the allies. This may put Germany in a bad economical position but they can't just go around starting wars. We will not stand for it. The Germans will pay dearly.
